Central Library of AIIMS Guwahati was inaugurated on 23rd February 2023. Being a major service centre of the Institute, the library provides library and information services to support teaching, learning, and research activities. The library has a collection of books, journals, and magazines both in print and digital format. It is located on the third floor of the Medical College building of AIIMS Guwahati.
As a new library, it is growing with time. More physical and digital books will be added to the collection. The mission of the library is to go beyond walls to reach every nook and corner for knowledge dissemination.

1. E-Library (Computer & Internet Facility) available since December, 2024.

2. SPSS Software available in the E-Library Computers since January 2025.

3. Bags, Briefcases, Beverages, Eatables, Smoking, etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Library.

4. Marking with pen and pencil, drawing, and highlighting on the Central Library Books is strictly prohibited.

Issue/renewal of someone else's book(s) will not be permitted.
Book overdue fee is @ ₹2/- per day per book.
Library users must pay the late fee through Institute’s online payment option, only.
In case of loss of book, borrower has to replace the same (same title, author, publisher and same or later edition) or deposit double the cost of actual price at the time of remittance.
